Update on Updates!

We’re still busy … although it’s hard to see any improvements in the overall look of the site, I guarantee you that work is actually being done.

While we haven’t been able to push anything in regards to the aesthetics,we have been able to make some changes behind the scenes, that while not visible make a huge difference. We’ve updated our device data uploader to provide it with a few more features as well as to correct a few errors, which make it more accurate than it was before. We’ve also received some more devices that are being integrated into eTrending as we speak. As each device is integrated we’ll be posting something about it along with a few of the features.

Finally we are also performing some in house usability tests on the application to ensure that the application remains simple and straightforward while hopefully emphasizing some of its unique advanced features.

Site and App Upgrades

Hi All,

Just a quick note from us here at eTrending regarding the look and feel of our current site and application. We are currently working on everything to put more relevant information regarding the application up on our site. So while it isn’t under “full construction” we’re definitely doing some behind the scenes “renovations”. We hope to have something better, more polished, with more useful information up in the coming weeks.

As for the application … it is completely functional although we figured as long as we’re polishing up the site, we might as well take a look at the application as well. While we won’t really be changing the features/functionality offered, we may move things around just to make it easier to use. Expect those changes to come up in the coming weeks as well.

So until then, keep trending!

Private BETA

Hello Again,

We are pleased to announce that we are now in Private BETA.  If you are interested in becoming one of the first in our user community please contact us.  This is a big step for us and we are very excited about the feedback that we have already received.    We will keep this blog up to date as we get closer to FULL BETA and production release.   Till then, stay tuned for our latest News.

Community Building

Here at eTrending we believe in really leveraging the power of the internet to create a community driven approach to the development of software, as well as to providing a place on the net where like minded individuals can share their thoughts in relation to the various topics we propose.

In the coming weeks and months, we hope to start posting relevant articles and studies that are related to eTrending. This is to show where medicine is going as well as how eTrending fits into a clinical setting.

We also hope that these articles can generate relevant discussions, creating a repository of all sorts of great information for the curious and the informed.

From these discussion we believe we can garner ideas in regards to how, as a community we can build a better tool.

We really believe that a constant flow of information and input will allow us to put together the best tool that actually meets the needs of you … our community.

What are we trying to accomplish?

So what is eTrending and what are we trying to build?

eTrending is an advanced web based graphing tool that can be used to visualize and chart data. Not only that but it can also take that data and produce comprehensive reports all at a touch of a button.

So how is this special?

It’s not really … except for the fact that over here at eTrending we’re working hard at integrating as many devices as possible. Currently we are working towards integrating medical devices … in the future who knows. What we do know is that the tool we have created can take any data and chart it intelligently, allowing for people to review, manipulate, and report on data pulled from a device … that’s pretty special.

Oh and one other thing … our tool is available via the world wide web. What does that mean you may ask? Well … it helps by assuring each user that they are always using THE latest and greatest. If we integrate a new device, there’s no waiting, there’s no downloading an update and running the install file, it’s just there. Available in real time. When we get it so do you.

Where and how do I take advantage of eTrending’s tool?

Currently eTrending is focused on medical device data … currently … There are many possibilities for what this tool can be used for, and if you have ideas, we’d love to hear from you, but as it stands right now eTrending is focused on medical devices. In regards to the “how” you simply have to register for an account, and follow our simple instructions in order to begin uploading data to our servers and start generating reports. As was previously mentioned the tool itself is available via the internet. So what does that mean? That means we host your data, and make it available to you from any computer that is connected to the internet.
