Updates and Private Beta

Hi all,

Well I thought I would take the time to update everyone about updates and how things are progressing over at eTrending.

First off some updates. We’re moving along incorporating some changes that have been suggested by our private beta users. The key changes have mainly been regarding the reports (adding new fields, as well as clarifying a few others), as well as to the consistency of the application in terms of matching the front end site, and adding more information, especially in terms of reference materials regarding events, desats, and calculations.

While most of the changes have been pushed, we are planning on taking some more time to improve the navigation of the application, as well as updating some icons, and adding some video to the help section. We’ve already improved the feature page detailing how one would go from pulling the data off their device to uploading, analyzing and eventually producing a report on that data set. We have also taken the time to rework some of the navigation menu to help streamline and organize the site.

In the pipeline … besides all the enhancements some of the other things we are looking at are adding the cooperative group setting with an administrative section to allow teams to easily share and score data together. With this we also plan on reorganizing our home page to display the shared studies and patients in a more coherent manner. Finally we plan on reexamining our charts and stats to ensure that we provide more useful information to you the user.

In the meantime we are still looking for more Private Beta Users. The feedback we have received so far has been invaluable, and so we would like to acquire more as we believe its really helping us build a stronger and better application. If you are interested please go to www.etrending.com and fill out the sign up form on the “Sign In” page. The account is free, and if you have any questions someone is always available to help.

We are excited about the progress we have made so far and look forward to the coming months.

Until then keep trending!

Need Respiratory Therapists for Usability Testing of Online Oximetry Software

Hi all,

As you know, we are currently putting eTrending through its paces with private beta testers.  We have been able to garner very constructive feedback to date, but we feel we need a broader input from users as to the usability of eTrending, the intuitiveness of the interface, and the functionality of the overall package.

If you or someone you know analyzes oximeter data on a regular basis, such as a respiratory therapist, pulmonologist, or researcher  we would like to extend an invitation to use the latest graphing and analytics tool from eTrending.com.   Some of our recent user feedback describes eTrending as ”light years ahead” and “very impressive.”

Please sign up immediately for our free private beta of the application by clicking here.

Site Updated With More Info!

Hi all,

Just a quick announcement to say what we have updated the site … again … but this time we’ve included more information.

Now you can get a look at some screenshots of the graphing tools, and reports available. We’ve also added a features and benefits section, some clinical use examples for oximetry, as well as some information regarding our security.

Oh and we’ve expanded our “How it Works” section to give you more of a step by step as to how the process works.

As always any and all feedback is welcomed.

Happy Trending!

A more open Private Beat & More Updates!

Just following up on the previous post to give you all some more details.

It’s taken us some time as we had a variety of other projects on the go, but we’ve finally been able to finish off quite a few back end projects as well as spruce up the site, and the web app itself. We’ve updated the content, changed some forms, navigation (both the site and the application) as well as spruced up some images, etc. and that’s just what you can see. A majority of the work was done “behind the scenes” as we are constantly striving to improve the application, and its functionality.

In other news we’ve also added a private beta form so that people who would like to join in can simply enter their name and email, and someone will get in touch. While it is a little more open, we are still trying to limit the number of users mainly so that we can actually stay in contact in order to get some useful feedback which theoretically leads to a better application! Depending on how this goes, we still hope to be moving to a beta in the near future which would finally be open to everyone. Of course, once we feel we are getting close, we’ll begin announcing dates and details.

As always, if anyone has questions or wants to know more about eTrending please feel free to contact us!

happy trending!
